Dan received his B.A. degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and went on to receive his J.D. from the University at Buffalo Law School. He also holds the honor of a LL.M from William & Mary Law School. He is admitted to practice law in New York State and the United States District Courts.
Since being admitted to the New York State Bar in 1992, Dan has worked at the Legal Aid Society, Criminal Defense Division, in Bronx County, the New York State Attorney General’s Office, in New York County and is now in private practice.
Dan has tremendous courtroom experience. He has been lead counsel on over 70 felony trials (28 being homicide trials), 20 misdemeanor trials and over 300 pre-trial hearings. He is one of the most successful and experienced criminal defense attorneys in the tri-state area.
NICOLE SHEINDLIN, ESQ

Nicole received her BA degree from the University at Buffalo and earned a J.D. from New York Law School. She is admitted to practice law in both New York and New Jersey. Nicole worked for twelve years at the Legal Aid Society, Bronx County. There she handled all aspects of criminal cases from arrest and arraignment through trial. She is a partner at Mentzer & Sheindlin and also the founder and executive director of Her Honor Mentoring.
